Dear Hr. Denton:
Our letter dated February 16, 1979 (AEP:NRC:00130) was a request for relief from the commitment to perform a load rejection test from 100K power as part of the startup testing of Unit 2 of the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant.
By this letter we withdraw that request and report to you that a full load rejection test was performed on July 21, 1979.
A summary report on the load rejection test results will be sent to the Director of the NRC Region III Office of Inspection and Enforce-ment by December 31, 1979.
