NRC-IE Bulletin No. 78-12,78-12A, 78-12B Atypical Weld Material in Reactor Pressure Vessels This is in response to the above referenced letter requesting information on the D. C.
Cook Nuclear Plant Reactor Vessel Weld material.
Westinghouse is currently collecting and compiling the necessary information from the reactor vessel fabricators.
Due to the volume of the information to be compiled, Westinghouse has informed AEP that the required information will be provided for the D.
C.
Cook Unit No.
1 by September 28, 1979 and for the D.
C.
Cook Unit No.
2 by June 29, 1979.
Since the above dates exceed the response submittal time stated in IE Bulletin 78-12B,
- AEP, upon the advise of Westinghouse, hereby requests an extension to the response date as follows:
