Site: SAINT LUCIE Emergency Class: Not Applicable "On November 2, 2017, a live smalltooth sawfish was recovered from the plant's intake canal. The fish was tagged and released unharmed per our smalltooth sawfish protocol. This is the second smalltooth sawfish captured from the canal in 2017.

"The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) was notified at 1411 EDT. This non-emergency notification is being made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi) due to the notification of the NMFS."
