Potentially Degraded Snubber SF1154 Hydraulic Fluid Batch 14ELVS145 Interim Report per 10 CFR Part 21 This letter reflects new information available since our previous interim notification dated July 24, 2017.

Peach Bottom We have concluded that a substantial safety hazard does not exist at this plant as a result of the subject fluid.

Grand Gulf We have concluded that a substantial safety hazard does not exist at this plant as a result of the subject fluid.

Three Mile Island We have concluded that a substantial safety hazard does not exist for 16of19 snubbers at this plant that were filled with the subject fluid and subsequently installed. Evaluation in this regard of the remaining three snubbers is scheduled for completion by November 21, 2017.

Millstone Evaluation of snubbers that were filled with the subject fluid and subsequently installed at Millstone is scheduled for completion by November 30, 2017.

The current status of the subject issue as it applies to US nuclear plants to which SF1154 fluid from Batch 14ELVS145 was shipped by Lake Engineering Company is summarized in the following table.

If our evaluation is not complete at that time, an interim report shall be submitted on or before the above date and an updated evaluation completion date shall be provided.
