Dear Mr. Crutchfield:
In accordance with Mr. Eisenhut's letter to Leon D. White, Jr.
dated January 1,
- 1980, and our letter dated August 28, 1980 I am enclosing a copy of our final report summarizing all activities completed on the anchorage and support of safety related electrical equipment.
All anchors associated with the load path on the electrical raceway system have been tested and upgraded where necessary.
The electrical equipment evaluated and modified by this program included all floor and wall mounted safety related and non safety related (or ancillary) assemblies.
In addition, internally mounted components, associated with Class IE equipment, and block wall mounted equipment were evaluated.
Calculations were performed on all assemblies and new anchorages were installed where testing was impractical.
Modifications were made on approximately 90% of the total number of assemblies.
As a result. of this program all safety related electrical equipment and all permanently mounted ancillary assemblies have anchorage systems engineered with adequate seismic capacity, fabricated and installed to quality standards.
