Dear Mr. Stolz:

Puget Sound Power and Light Company submitts six copies of proprietary aeromagnetic data which are further identified in Attachment 1 to the Affidavit enclosed herewith. An inter-pretation of these data have been prepared by Edcon and their report will shortly hereafter be filed with the NRC. These data and the Edcon 'interpretation are in partial response to the NRC questions issued in June, 1978. Puget Sound Power and Light Company hereby requests that the enclosed aeromagnetic data be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CD F.R.

g 2.790 on the grounds that it constitutes confidential com-mercial information and geophysical information and data.

The data was acquired for Puget by LKB Resources, Inc. and AERO Services. Enclosed herewith is the Affidavit of James E. Mecca

.which establishes the confidential nature of the data and explains the reasons for withholding the data from public dis-closure.
