Dear Mr. Parrish:

On April6, 1999, Washington Public Power Supply System (Supply System) informed the staff of its plan to extend the Second Ten-Year Inservice Inspection Program Plan interval for WNP-2 one year to December 12, 2005. The one-year extension is needed due to changes in the refueling outage schedule for WNP-2. The extension is within the provisions of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)Section XI, IWA-2430, "Inspection Intervals," Paragraph (d), and is acceptable to the staff.
