Dear Mr. Parrish:
By letter dated April 13, 1998, the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation informed Region IVof
the results of its evaluation of changes made to the Washington Nuclear Project-2 Emergency
Plan in Revisions 17-19.
Region IVrequested the evaluation on June 28, 1997. The results are
contained in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
Upon issuance of this letter, Region IVwillcontact
your staff to discuss immediate corrective actions.
This matter willbe discussed further in
Inspection Report 50-397/98-06.
