CHANGES TO WASHINGTON NUCLEAR PROJECT SITE 2 EMERGENCY ACTION LEVELS
Dear Mr. Parrish:
This letter acknowledges receipt of plant procedures manual, Volume 13, Package No. 97-60, dated February 20, 1997, which transmitted Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure 13.1.1, "Emergency Classification," Revision 24 (emergency action levels).
Based on your determination that the changes did not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50 (verbally confirmed with Mr. T. Messersmith on February 17, 1998), NRC approval is not required.
Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
