LIST OF ISSUES MEETING ON APRIL 29 1997 WNP-2 THERMO-LAG RESOLUTION In preparation for the April 29,
- 1997, meeting regarding Thermo-Lag, please be prepared to discuss the following information during the meeting:
The overall effort associated with GL 92-08.
Discussion and chronology of major accomplishments implemented - this would help NRC to understand the thinking process behind the development of corrective actions and what the licensee accomplished.
Discussion on what's left to be done including a graphical representation of what's been done and the percentage left to be done.
With what's left to be done, the percentage of work that can be performed while the plant is on-line and the percentage of work that can be performed only during an outage.
Be ready to discuss the specific modifications and location of the work.
Perspective on the type of problems and/or problems encountered
'regarding implementation of corrective actions associated with Thermo-Lag.
Level of management attention, i.e.,
management support/management oversight as well as reporting requirement associated with the implementation of Thermo-Lag corrective actions.
What can the licensee do or will do to accelerate the implementation schedule?
Will the use of additional resources accelerate the implementation schedule?
What are the factors that impede the implementation schedule?
If outages drive the final date of implementation, would the licensee be able to perform outage work during forced or unplanned outages (which implies that the modification packages are ready)?
What is the level of confidence that the proposed schedule will be met?
