This refers to the inspection
conducted
by Hessrs.
T. 0. HcKernon,
S. HcCrory,
and
R. Lantz of this office and licensed operator
examiner contractors
on
August 4-19,
1995 at the Washington
Nuclear Project-2 facility.
The purpose
of the inspection
was to determine
whether activities authorized
by the
l,icense
were conducted
safely
and in accordance
with NRC requirements.
At the
conclusion of the inspection,
the findings were discussed
with Hr.
C.
Schwarz
and those
members of your staff identified in the enclosed
report.
Areas
examined during the inspection
are identified in the report.
Within
these
areas,
the inspection consisted
of a review of the qualifications of
applicants for operator licenses
at the Washington
Nuclear Project-2 facility,
which included
an eligibility determination
and administration of
comprehensive
written examinations
and operating tests.
The results of this
inspection
are documented
on page
2, in the enclosed
report.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790 of the
NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
