WNP-2 Semiannual Plant Performance Review The Regional staff has recently completed the Semiannual Plant Performance Review (SPPR) for all operating power reactors in Region IV.
The SPPR provided an integrated assessment of licensee performance with the intent of identifying performance trends and adjusting inspection resources accordingly.
All technical divisions, including senior Region IV management, participated in the review of WNP-2's safety performance that covered the period October 1994 through Harch 1995.
As a result of our review, increased inspection resources in the areas of Operations and Maintenance were proposed.
During the months leading up to the next scheduled SPPR in October
- 1995, Region IV plans to perform inspections and activities as outlined in the table below:

We will make every effort to keep you informed of changes as they occur.
Region IV reviews pending inspection efforts on a weekly basis, looking ahead 6 weeks into the future.
As we have done in the past, we will contact your nuclear licensing department with specific details of these announced inspections as the schedule becomes firm.
