subject, which forwarded a copy of the proposed Objectives and Limitations

~or the Washington Nuclear Project, Unit 2, 1994 Emergency Preparedness

=xer cise to be conducted the week of September 12, 1994.

We have reviewed the exercise objectives and concluded they appear appropriate to meet emergency plan goals and requirements.

Mr. A. Mcgueen of my staff discussed the results of our review with Mr. Fred Van Buskirk and other members of your emergency planning staff on June 30, 1994.

Your staff stated the required appropriate evaluation criteria for the objectives would be submitted as a pai t of the exercise scenario package.

It was further agreed that based on NRC questions, minor changes would be made to some limitations pertaining to the objectives for clarification.

The scenario package will be reviewed upon receipt.
