This letter refers to the inspection
conducted
by Hr. C. Hyers during the
period of February
14 through
18,
1994, of activities authorized
by
NRC
License
No. NPF-21,
and to the discussion of our findings held with you and
other members of your staff on February
18,
1994.
The inspection
addressed
open items from previous
NRC inspections of your activities to assure
the
operability and reliability of motor operated
valves
(HOVs) in safety-related
systems.
Specific areas
examined during this inspection
are described
in the enclosed
inspection report.
Within these
areas,
the inspection consisted
of selective
examinations of procedures
and representative
records,
and interviews with
personnel.
No violations or deviations of NRC requirements
were identified within the
scope of this inspection.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter
and the enclosure
will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
