SUBJECT:

FEHA EXERCISE REPORT FOR THE WASHINGTON NUCLEAR PROJECT, UNIT 2 (WNP-2) 1992 ANNUAL EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EXERCISE By letter dated Hay 13, 1993, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEHA) informed the NRC of the results of their observations of the offsite activities during the WNP-2 emergency preparedness exercise on December 8,

1992.

The letter states there were two deficiencies identified, and there were several areas identified that require corrective action.

Copies of the FEHA letter and report are enclosed.

The FEHA report indicates twenty-three areas requiring corrective actions and two Plan Inadequacies identified during this exercise.

We request that you coordinate with the offsite authorities to ensure corrective actions are taken to resolve these areas.
