conference
at the Region

office in Walnut Creek, California.
The topics discussed

presented
by your staff at the meeting
is also enclosed.
During this enforcement
conference,
we discussed
the findings of our November
30 December
21,
1992, radiological controls inspection at Washington Nuclear
Project
2,
as reported in
NRC Inspection
Report 50-397/92-41.
Specific topics
discussed
included adherence
to radiation protection procedures
and the need
for improvements
in processing,
transportation,
and disposal. of radioactive
waste.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790'of the
NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of
