FOR WASHINGTON PUBLIC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM UNIT 2 (TAC NO. M81515)

On April 29, 1991, the NRC issued Generic Letter (GL) 91-06; MPA L106, which contained the staff's resolution of Generic Issue A-30 ~

This Generic Issue (GI) is part of GI-128, "Electrical Power Reliability."

GL 91-06 required only that the licensee provide certified responses to the questions listed in Enclosure 1 to the GL, including any required justifications.

You responded to the GL in a letter dated October 18, 1991.

You answered "yes" to the questions contained in Enclosure 1 to the GL with the exception of questions 3.a.7 and 7.b.6.

Your response indicated that procedures for ensuring the adequacy of safety related DC power supplies are in place, including adequate justification for answering "no" to questions 3.a.7 and 7.b.6.

The staff has reviewed your response and finds that it meets the reporting requirements set forth in GL 91-06.

This completes the staff's activities on TAC No.
