SuBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-397/98-11
Dear Mr. Parrish:
From July 6-24, 1998, a routine core inspection of the corrective action program was conducted
at your Washington Nuclear Project-2 reactor facility. Inspection continued in the Region IV
offices through August 21, 1998. From August 24-28, 1998, followup of issues identified during
, the in-office review was performed onsite. A telephonic exit was conducted with Mr. Paul
Insera, of your staff, on September 28, 1998. The enclosed report presents the, scope and
results of these inspection activities.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,'
