same subject, dated September 14, 1983 The reference letter forwarded an update of the Supply System response to NUREG-0313, Rev.
1.
The letter described the Induction Heating Stress Improvement program initiated to augment the Supply System position.
The IHSI program has been completed.
The final program summary is as follows:
o Originally 204.welds in the Reactor Recirculation (RRC) and Residual Heat Removal (RHR}'ystems, were identified for review.
On completion, 214 welds (including 10 RPV discharge nozzle to safe end welds not originally reported) were reviewed.
o Thirty-eight (38} welds.were originally found to be properly treated for protection from IGSCC and classified as conforming.
On completion, a
total of, 50,.welds were classified as conforming.
(Ten RPV discharge nozzle to safe end welds not originally reported were classified as conforming, plus 2 welds originally considered non-conforming were reevalua'ted and..reclassified as conforming.)

One hundred and fifteen (115) welds were originally classified as non-conforming and scheduled for treatment.
The 2 welds discussed above were reclassified leaving 113 welds treated on completion of the program.
The program has been completed with no fur ther changes to the program described in the referenced letter.
