1982 Mr. Jerome

& License Relations Office of the State Programs U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.
C.

Dear Mr. Saltzman:
Subject:
STANDBY NUCLEAR LIABILITYFINANCIAL PROTECTION We are pleased to enclose eight (8) certified copies of the "Declarations" page of our Standbv Nuclear Liability Policy No. NF-270.
These are provided by ANI and are sent to you for your use and retention in accordance with 10CFR 140. 15.
You will note the policies are written with an effective date of August 1982 and include a restricted site description as we have previously discussed.
Discussions with BPA are continuing concerning the expansion of the site description and its impact on the Project Agreements.
We anticipate resolution of this item, as well as a
greater certainty regarding the future status of WNP-4, by the time of WNP-2 fuel load.
Once again, we appreciate the NRC's maintaining the narrow site description until then.
Should you need further information on insurance, or should any ouestions arise, please contact me or Mr. J. 0. DeLuca, Manager of Corporate Insurance.
Very truly yours, G.
D. Bouchey, anager Nuclear Safety and Licensing JOD/sm Enclosures
