Enclosed for review by the Commfttee are f teen (16) copies of the Safety Evaluation Report prepared by the 0 fce of Nuclear Reactor Regulation fn the matter of the applfcatfo filed by the WPPSS for license to operate the WNP-2.
At this time, twenty-,nine j (29) issues r afn utstandfng including THI-related issues.
These issues are fdentf fed fn Section 1.7 of the SER.
We anticipate that several of these wfl be reso ved fn the next few weeks.
The SER also does not address g ology and seismology issues.

We will require the res lutfon of al open items prior to a decision on issuance of operatfn license for P-2.
