Dear Mr. Barker:
This letter requests permission to observe the NRC Inspection scheduled for the week of October 23, 2017 at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. In support of Utility Radiological Safety Board Joint Inspection Observation Program activities, Ohio Department of Health would like to send a representative to that inspection to cover the Radiation Monitoring Instrumentation and Radioactive Gaseous & Liquid Effluent Treatment and asks that you please coordinate this request with the lead NCR inspector, John Cassidy.
The person who will be observing this inspection for Ohio Department of Health is Pamela Hintz, a Health Physicist in the Health Physics Support Section of the Bureau of Environmental Health and Radiation Protection.
