SUBJECT:
BOMB THREAT On April 1, 1981, at 6:45 am
- PST, a
WBG Clerk (primary contractor at the site) received a
bomb threat against the Washington Public Power Supply System Unit 2.
The unknown male caller stated that 2 bombs were placed on site and would go off sometime today (4/1/81).
A search of the facility is being conducted.
No evacuation is planned by the licensee.
No media interest is expected and no press release is planned by Region V or the licensee.
The Division of Safeguards and Radiological Safety, IE has been informed.
I Construction of Unit 2 is 85Ã complete.
No fuel is onsite.
This preliminary notification is.'issued for information on'ly and no further action'by IE is anticipated.
