Environmental qualification of Rosemount Pressure Transmitters, Models 1151 D&G

Letter G02-80-298, dated December 15, 1980 RG Natlock to RH Engelken, same subject In accordance with the guidelines established for the reporting of 10CFR50.55(e) conditions, an interim report was transmitted to you by lNP-2 Docket Letter, G02-80-298, dated December 15, 1980, describing a potentially reportable deficiency. The deficiency involved the apparent lack of environmental (radiation stress) qualification for Rosemount Pressure Transmitters, Models 1151 D&G, used in safety-related system designs.

t After a thorough investigation involving the equipment manufacturer (Rosemount Engineering) and the equipment supplier (General Electric),

it has been determined that the Rosemount Pressure Transmitters, models 1151 D8G, supplied to l<NP-2 are properly qualified for use in the

Washington Public Power Supply System radiation environment expected at HNP-2. Therefore, the potentially reportable deficiency has been concluded to be not reportable.
