Dear Mr. Denton:
The purpose of this letter is to provide our response to your Reference 1 request for information from the NRR Bulletins and Orders Task Group.
In keeping with our commitments of the Reference 2 letter, we are transmitting our response to 1E Bulletin 79-08 (attachment 1) and the plant unique data requested by the Bulletins and Orders Task Force (attachment 2).
Also, we are sending our response to the Bulletins and Orders Task Force requests for additional information concerning NEDO-24708 (attachments 3 and 4).
The supplement to NEDO-24708 to cover near term operating license
- plants, was sent to you by General Electric on March 19, 1980.
The submittal of this requested information for llPPSS Nuclear Project No.
2 completes the filing of information comparable to Operating BMR plant supplied information covered under NEDO-24708 and associated NRC bulletins.

You will recognize'-this plagt specific information for WPPSS Nuclear Project No.
2 differs only in a minor nature from the information previously reviewed by the Bulletins and Orders Task Force.
On this basis we believe NUREG-.0626 Safety Evalu-ation Report addressing NEDO-24708 for all operating BWR's can be extended to cover near-term operating license plants including WPPSS Nuclear Project No. 2.
