RESPONSE
OF FLORIDA CITIES TO FLORIDA POWER
& LIGHT COMPANY'S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME Florida Power
& Light Company
("FPL") has requested an extension of time to respond to Florida Cities'Petition to Intervene and Request for Consolidation".
Florida Cities confirm that they have no objection to the granting of FPL's motion.
FPL states, "The procedural status of Cities'etition is by no means clear."
The Company notes that it was "submitted in Docket No. 50-389A", but "it was apparently filed in response to the notice published in the Federal Re ister on March 9, 1981'n Docket No. 50-389-OL."
Page 15831 of the Federal Register merely refers to Docket No. 50-389.
Florida Cities petition relates to antitrust
- matters, yet the Federal Register notice did not set forth a par-ticular docket number under which the petition should be designated.
Florida Cities respectfully request that their "Petition to Intervene and Request for Consolidation" be docketed as appropriate.
Re spec tfully submi tted, Robert A.
blon Attorney for Florida Cities April 16, 1981
