Dear Mr. Vissing:
The subject Inspection Report requires Rochester Gas
& Electric to submit a response to the Notice of Violation within 30 days of receipt of the letter (i.e.,
by January 30, 1998).
It further states that where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending the response time.
We have discussed this matter with Mr. James Wiggins, Director, Division of Reactor Safety, requesting a 30-day extension for our response.
This letter documents Mr. Wiggins'oncurrence with this extension of time.
