Dear Mr. Vissing:
The subject report is hereby submitted as required by 10 CFR 50.59(b).
The enclosed report contains descriptions and summaries of the safety evaluations conducted in support of proposed changes to the facility and procedures described in the UFSAR and special
- tests, from August 1995 through July
- 1996, performed under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59.
Following this submittal, it is our intent to modify our annual submittal interval to an interval of within 6 months after each refueling outage.
This modification is consistent with 10CFR50.59(b) and 10CFR50.71(e),
and will result in a submittal being made approximately every 18 months or as dictated by the new fuel cycle recently instituted by RG&E.
