NRC INSPECTION 50-244/94-06
This letter transmits the March
1 - 28, "1994 inspection findings of Messrs. L. Rossbach,
P. Sena, and S. Greenlee at the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
At the end of the
inspection, the findings were discussed with J. Widay and other members of your staff.
The inspection was focused on areas relevant to public health and safety and examined the
pre-outage planning, plant shutdown, and refueling activities.
Overall, the refueling
activities inspected were well planned from a safety perspective and were performed safely
and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and
its enclosure willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
