Identification ofFederal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)Deficiency At R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant Enclosed is a letter from FEMA's Mr. S. McIntosh, ChaiJman of the Region II Regional Assistance Committee, dated December 14, 1993, notifying the State of New York of a deficiency identified during the November 17, 1993, emergency preparedness exercise at R. E.
Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
The deficiency involve'd the failure of the Joint News Center to contact the emergency broadcast station (EBS) for broadcast of the EBS message.
This deficiency was remediated prior to te'rmination of the exercise on November 17, 1993.
The letter is being provided for your information and no action on your part appears necessary.
