Nuclear Regulatory Commission transmitting Revision 18 to the R..E.
Ginna Nuclear, Power Plant Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation We received your 10 CFR 50.54(a) submittal, referenced above, transmitting Revision 18 to the Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation at Ginna.
Based on Region I staff review of this Quality Assurance Program submittal, an apparent reduction in commitment from the program description previously accepted by the NRC exists.
Changes to the Quality Assurance Program that reduce commitments must be submitted to the NRC and
-receive NRC approval prior to implementation in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54.
Based on our current review schedule, we anticipate that it willrequire more than 60 days to complete our review.
Upon completion of our review of your Quality Assurance Program, you willbe notified of the results.
