NNG15SC645B NRC-HQ-40-17-T-0001 Page 3 of 18 NRCB10 BRIEF PROJECT TITLE AND WORK DESCRIPTION (a) The title of this project is: Audiovisual switcher to upgrade the Commission Hearing Room (b)

Background:

The Commission Hearing Room requires replacement of the main switcher to increase quality and AV support for Commission meetings, public meetings and all NRC meetings, seminars and training events hosted on the Commission Hearing Room.

(c) Objective:

The objective of this acquisition is for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to procure audiovisual switcher to upgrade the Commission Hearing Room. .

Description:

Manufacturer. Part# Qty Description Unit price Total TRICASTER 8000 MULTI-Newtek TC8000MSGOVB 1 STANDARD GOVERNMEN 1.8M CB-00008948 HDMI TO Viewsonic CB-00008948 4 DVI Viewsonic VP2780-4K 2 DISPLAY Total: $37,798.92 (e) Limited Source Justification:

The exact model and part numbers are required to ensure all new components work seamlessly with the existing Commission Hearing Room suite. Non-specific or substitute items would require the purchase of additional (and unnecessary) equipment and reengineering that would significantly increase the cost of the project. In addition, different components and the associated engineering time would require significant down-time for the Commission Hearing Room, whereas this upgrade as listed will be completed during a weekend with no down-time.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance is from September 20, 2017 to March 19, 2018.

(End of Clause)

PLACE OF DELIVERY The items to be furnished hereunder shall be delivered, with all charges paid by the Contractor to:
