Indication:

a.

No.

1 seal leakoff flow - LESS THAN 5.5 GPM

a. IF No.

1 seal leakoff flow greater than or equal to 5.5

GPM, THEN close seal disch vlv(s) AOV-270A (A RCP)

OR AOV

-270B (B RCP)

AND perform the following:

o IF Rx at power, THEN:

1) Trip the Rx.
2) Trip the affected RCP(s).

3)

Go to E-O, REACTOR TRIP or SAFETY INJECTION.

o IF Rx shutdown, THEN:

1) Trip the affected RCP(s).

2 Seal Indications:

a.

RCP standpipe lo level alarms, B-11/(12) - NOT LIT b.

RCP standpipe hi level alarms, B-3/(4) - NOT LIT

a. IF either RCP standpipe lo level alarm lit, THEN go to Step 4.
b. IF either RCP standpipe hi level alarm lit, THEN go to Step 6.

4 Check Containment Radiation Monitors:

o R NORMAL o

R NORMAL IF RCP standpipe lo level alarm and CNMT radiation increasing, THEN No.

3 seal leakage increase is probable.

Continue plant operation while closely monitoring RCP seal operation.

5 Check Both RCP Diff Press:

o GREATER THAN - 220 PSID IF Rx at power, THEN:

a. Trip the Rx.
