R. E. GINNA RESIDENT INSPECTION 50-244/92-20 (12/19/92 - 1/26/93)
This letter transmits the December
19, 1992 to January 26, 1993 inspection findings of
Messrs. T. Moslak and E. Knutson at the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
At the end of
the inspection, Mr. E. Knutson of my staff summarized
the findings with Mr. J. Widay and
other members of your staff.
The inspection primarily examined the control of operations,
maintenance,
and surveillance
activities conducted during this period.
Within this scope, the response by chemistry,
operations,
and maintenance
personnel in identifying, isolating, and repairing circulating
water leaks in the main condenser
was prompt and effectively coordinated.
No violations or
programmatic weaknesses
were identified.
No response
to this letter is required.
