Dear Mr. Johnson:
Xn RGGE's September 18, 1992 response to Generic Letter 90-03, we confirmed that the two elements of an adequate vendor interface program have been incorporated into our Vendor Manual Upgrade Project.
Within that response, we not;ed that, following completion of the upgrade of each manual, the vendor would be contacted on a yearly basis for purposes of manual updates.
We have determined it would be appropriate to modify this interval from annually to biennially (every two years).
This is consistent with the minimum review cycle for our procedures, and wii h the guidance provided in Generic Letter 90-03 for periodic contact of appropriate vendors.
