This letter transmits the October 27 to December
18, 1992 inspection findings of Messrs.
T, Moslak and E. Knutson at the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
At the end of the
inspection, Mr. T. Moslak of my staff summarized
the findings with Mr. J. Widay and other
members of your. staff.
The inspection primarily examined the control of operations,
maintenance,
and surveillance

activities conducted during this period.
Within this scope, we noted excellent performance
by your engineering staff in detecting an obscure design deficiency in the safety injection
system cross-connect
isolation logic.
