Dear Mr. johnson:
Enclosed is an Application for Amendment to Operating License to amend Appendix A of that license to add additional requirements to the Auxiliary Electrical Systems Technical Specifications and Action Statements for the instrument bus systems.
Xt should be noted that this Technical Specification upgrade is a voluntary submittal on the part of RGGE.
This upgrade is in response to the guidance provided in Generic Letter 91-11 for resolution of Generic Issue 48.
Consequently, these proposed changes are modeled after the Standard Technical Specifications, although not a verbatim translation of the Standard Technical Specifications.
This proposed Amendment.
should be considered effective 30 days after RG&E receipt of NRC approval.
