Response to NRC Bulletin 92-01, dated July 29, 1992
Dear Mr. Johnson:
This letter is provided in response to Supplement 1 of Bulletin 92-01 and to reiterate previous statements that RG&E has not utilized either one or three hour pre-formed Thermo-Lag 330 fire barrier material for any applications at the Ginna plant.
This was acknowledged by the NRC in reference (b).
Reference (a) requested licensee actions for only small diameter conduit or wide trays (widths greater than 14 inches).
RG&E responded in reference (c) that Thermo-Lag 330 was not utilized for these applications.
Supplement 1 requested essentially the same actions as the Bulletin but expanded the scope to include all sizes of conduits, and trays and to include walls, ceilings, and equipment enclosures.

4 Based on the. fact that we have not used Thermo-Lag in any applica-tions at Ginna Station, the requested actions and compensatory measures in Supplement 1 to Bulletin 92-01 are not applicable.
RGSE is continuing to review the general industry wide concerns generated by the Bulletin and Supplement.
