NUREG-0737 Supplement. 1/Regulatory Guide 1.97 R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Johnson:
In RG&E's March 13, 1992 letter regarding NUREG-0737 Supplement 1/Regulatory Guide 1.97, item 73 of attachment 3, Table 1, we noted that six environmentally qualified Containment Air Temperature RTDs would be installed during the 1992 refueling outage.
The instal-lation of the RTDs has been completed;
- however, the actual environmental qualification testing, and the subsequent preparation of qualification documentation
- packages, are not yet complete.
We expect the testing to be completed during the summer of 1992, and review of test results and documentation into EQ packages to be completed by November 1, 1992.
These RTDs do not provide safety-related indications, and are not referenced. in the Emergency Operating-Procedures.
We expect the installed RTDs to operate in the event of a harsh environment, but will not consider this modification to be complete until all documentation is completed.
