During the week of October 21,
1991,
the
NRC administered initial examinations
to three reactor
operator
(RO) and five senior reactor operator
(SRO)
candidates
from your company
who were applying for licenses
to operate
the
R.
E. Ginna Nuclear Plant.
These
examinations
were administered
under Revision
6 to the Examiner Standards
(NUREG 1021).
All eight candidates
passed
the
written and operating portions of their examinations
were issued
licenses.
At the conclusion of the examination,
generic
issues that evolved
as
a result
of the examination
were discussed
with those
members of your staff identified
in the enclosed
report.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's
regulations,
a copy of
this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
