R. E. Ginna Resident Inspection 50-244/91-23 (10/1/91 - 11/4/91)
From October
1 to November 4, 1991, the NRC Region I staff conducted a routine safety
inspection at your facility. We have documented
the results in the enclosed report.
At the
end of the inspection, Mr. T. Moslak of my staff summarized the findings with
Mr. J. Widay and other members of your staff.
The inspection examined, in particular, the control of corrective maintenance activities
conducted during this period.
Within this scope,
the oversight provided by the Quality Control organization in providing
oversight for the refurbishing/testing/installation of circuit cards for the Undervoltage
Monitoring Protection System was noteworthy.
Good procedure adherence
and
interdepartmental
coordination were also observed in controlling maintenance work activities.
No violations or programmatic weaknesses
were identified.
No response
