exercise was conducted

by Mr. L. Eckert of this office and other members of an NRC team on September

10-12,

1991 at the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, Ontario, New York.

Discussions of our

findings were held by Mr. Eckert with you and other members ofyour staff at the conclusion

of the inspection.

The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I report which

is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of examination of

procedures

and records,

interviews with personnel,

and observation

of the emergency

exercise by NRC team members.
