PERFORMANCE DATAFORM SEMI-ANNUALREPORT Six Months Ending December 31, 1990 MMARY F MANA EMENT A N
DR TE TIN As indicated on the Performance Data Form, a total of 846 drug/alcohol tests were conducted during the reporting period. Of this total, four (4) or approximately.5% were tested positive.
Of the 846 drug/alcohol
- tests, 587 random drug/alcohol tests were administered resulting in three (3) positive tests or a.5% positive test rate. Two (2) random tests or.3% of the total were positive for illegal drugs. RGAE's random test rate is 100%.
MANA EMENT A NS In accordance with the RG&E Fitness For Duty (FFD) Program and Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy, all employees are automatically referred to the Company's EAP whenever there is a violation of the policy, except in cases where the employee is terminated.
During the reporting period, two employees tested positive; one for an illegal drug and one for alcohol.
One contractor employee tested positive for alcohol under the random testing program.
During the reporting period, there were no reportable events under 10CFR 26.73.
During September 11-18, 1990, an Internal Audit was conducted of the Company's Fitness For Duty Program.
The one audit finding identified that the FFD procedures could be improved and distributed as a controlled document. Accordingly, FFD Program procedures are being processed to be in compliance with the regulations.
A Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Inspection of the FFD Program was originally scheduled in the September, 1990 time frame but was rescheduled by the NRC to occur in
- January, 1991.
