From October 10 to November 14, 1990, NRC Region I conducted routine safety inspections
at the R. E, Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
We have documented
the inspection findings in the
enclosed report.
At the conclusion of the inspection, Mr. T. Moslak of my staff summarized
the inspection findings with Mr. S. Spector and other members of your staff.
This inspection examined the preventive and corrective maintenance
programs for balance of
plant systems.
Within this area, the repairs and post-maintenance
testing performed on the "A"
Feedwater Regulating Valve were found to be well planned and coordinated, with appropriate
involvement by corporate and site management.
No response to this report is required.
