"Report to Offsite Agencies Regarding Discovery of Deceased Crocodiles Not Caused by Facility Operation "This 4-Hour Non-Emergency Notification to the NRC is being made based on notifications to other government agencies per 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi).
"On 9/15/2017, the control room was notified of 2 deceased American Crocodiles discovered in the Owner Controlled Area. The crocodile deaths were not caused by facility operations. The Federal Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were notified on 9/15/2017 at approximately 14:20 EDT.
"The NRC Resident Inspector has been notified."
