Dear Mr. Stahle:
In your letter to me of August 24T 1987 on the same subject you requested certain additional information about the RGGE response to Generic Letter 83-28 within 30 days.
In a subsequent conversation with Paul Wilkens of RGSE>
you indicated that the real intent 'of the letter was to request a timetable within 30 days for addressing the issues raised in the enclosure to your letter.
I At this point the Westinghouse Owners Group has discussed the issues regarding Item 4.2i parts 3 and 4. It is RGGE's intent to follow the progress of this issue, with the Owners Group and send a
more definitive report of our approach to the issue of qualified life.
We will provide this data and a tentative schedule for completion of our investigation during March of 1988.
