Dear Mr. Crutchfield:
In response to 10 CPR Section 50.54 (s) (1), enclosed are ten copies of the radiological emergency response plans for the State of New York and for Wayne and. Monroe Counties.
The two county plans cover the emergency planning zone for plume exposure of approximately 10.
mile radius around Ginna.
Three copies of each plan are also being provided to the Director, Region I Office, Inspection and Enforcement.
In=our review of these plans, which were received only recently, we noted that the county plans are indicated to be drafts.
We have been assured by governmental officials that these plans, as received, are no longer in draft form and are being submitted to the Federal'mergency Management Agency as the State and County plans.
We have also noted that a number of commitments are made in the State and Local plans for actions to oe taken by RGGE.
We have nor. yet agreed to accept these commitments and will be discussing them with governmental authorities in the near future.
