Dear Mr. Crutchfield:
By letter dated August 9, 1982 we proposed a Technical Speci-fication to permit operation of Ginna Station at eit'her current primary system pressure and temperature or at reduced pressure and temperature. Since the time of that submittal, we have completed additional analysis and tests on the cost effectiveness of operation at reduced system pressure and temperature. Based on the additional information, we do not intend to operate at reduced system temperature and presssure and, therefore, withdraw our August 9 request for your approval. Very truly yours, Jo n E.
