Dear Nr. Zwolinski:

Your,,letter dated August 19I 1985 provided a Safety Evaluation Report which concluded that the containment tendon surveillance program at Ginna was adequate to assure the integrity of the containment structure.

The letter also requested a

response within 30 days to certain recommendations made by your contractor.

We are developing responses to the recommendations.

As discussed with members of your staffr it would be beneficial that we meet to discuss the recommendations with the Staff in Bethesda in the near future.

For this reasoni formal responses to the contractor recommendations will not be submitted by September 22 but will be submitted after our meeting has taken place and a

clearer understanding of Staff requirements has been developed.
