Dear Mr. Zwolinski:
In response to your June 6I 1985 letter>
"TMI Action Item II.K.3.30"I your understanding is correct.
Rochester Gas and Electric is a member of the Westinghouse Owners Group (WOG) and NOTRUMP will be used for the small break LOCA analysis of Ginna.
Generic small break LOCA analysis will be performed by the WOG.
This will satisfy the requirements of II.K.3.31 by demonstrating that previous evaluation model results are conservative when compared to the NOTRUMP small break evaluation model results.
The generic analysis will be applicable to Ginna.
We intend to satisfy the requirements of II.K.3.31 by referencing these generic analyses.
The generic analysis is expected to be submitted to the Staff in May 1986.
